Food Service Establishment Signage & Information

The following signage may not be required in all food service establishments, and additional signage may be required in some jurisdictions. Please contact your local health department for more information. Contact information can be found by using the Department's interactive map.

All menus, including those offered online, must include one of the following statements in the same language as the menu:

• This statement: "If you have a food allergy, please notify us." OR
• A statement that informs customers about allergen information for each prepared food item offered on the menu, such as “Allergen information for menu items is available. Ask an employee for details.”
• View language translations
• Online menus must provide a method for customers to inform the establishment of any food allergies.
