    I wish to make a PDF-file with page turn effect, but it says I need to use SWF.

    Is it possible to save a PDF with page turn effects without saving it as SWF?

    No. That is exactly why it says "(SWF Only)".

    Thanks for confirming.

    This page in the Swedish Adobe Support gave me some hope that it might work:

    But they probably refer to general page transitions and not specifically the page turn effect.

    That page turn effect serves no purpose at all. How do you plan on viewing this PDF?

    If it's via the web, there are WordPress plugins that will do this. Otherwise, skip it.

    It's supposed to be a catalogue, like an attachment in an email and not web-based.

    I have checked out web-options but the point is to send it as an PDF but with the page turn transition, no sound.

    I have also checked out third-party choices, but they also offer html or web-based options. Maybe I need to rethink the whole idea and opt for the web-based instead.
